For over 18 years Satara , a leading designer furniture company has developed an admired reputation as a designer, importer and wholesaler of luxury furniture to the Retail, Interior Design and Commercial markets. We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to help service our Victorian and Interstate customer base. The role has some flexibility with work hours.
The position is a sales and customer service role with a focus on assisting our existing trade customer base via face to face, phone, video and email communication along with prospecting for new business, primarily via phone calls and emails. The role also involves preparation of quotes, hosting showroom visits, preparation of presentations, and other sales and customer service related activities.

Client Relationship Building: Proactively create and nurture relationships with clients across Victoria and interstate to create long term strategic business growth.
Market Knowledge: Understand the needs of our clients in the Residential and Commercial markets we work in and establish and offer solutions that meet these needs.
Call Plan: Establish and maintain a Call Plan utilising our CRM system.
Re-engage previous clients to our new collections and capabilities.
Provide product selection advice, quotations and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
New Client Outreach: Identify market opportunities and strategically reach out to new potential clients, expanding our reach and strengthening our market position.
National Team: Contribute as part of a National Sales team focussed on building business.
Showroom: Utilise our showroom for client meetings and to present our products in a professional manner.
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Proven experience in phone-based and showroom sales and customer service
Minimum 1-2 years of B2B sales experience required
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients over the phone
Ability to work well with a team and eager to maintain high levels of customer experience
Successfully meeting KPI's
A passion for furniture and design.
A track record of successful client relationship management, with a focus on retention and growth.
Industry Experience: A detailed knowledge of the Interior Design Industry and ideally at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in a business development/account management role selling in the Industry
