Satara’s new home in the Morris Moor development in Moorabbin is the perfect resource for designers and their clients alike . The end of 2020 saw the brand’s Melbourne headquarters, flagship showroom and warehouse shift to a space that allows the furniture range to be displayed in a way it’s best appreciated. Light and character-filled, the showroom breathes new life into the range, assisting designers and elevating their projects.
“We were drawn to the space for many reasons, one of which was the flexibility it gave us to create a resource for designers and the trade to utilise. Where they can confidently bring their clients to inspire them and also walk them through such an extensive portion of our range. We wanted the space for the large scale pieces, the ability to showcase the diversity of our range and the materials they’re created from.”
Owner, Andrew Johnston encourages the design industry to make the most of this inspiring new showroom. The space to view the products, peruse material options and draw on the team’s vast knowledge on the showroom floor is an ideal destination for design professionals and their clients. Both the indoor and outdoor collections can be found, alongside Satara’s comprehensive accessory ranges including soft furnishings, indoor and outdoor rugs, pots, and feature art exhibitions.
The converted manufacturing site is the perfect blank canvas, but one that also reflects the development’s rich history. Surrounded by a community of like-minded offices, showrooms and hospitality venues, it’s quickly becoming a destination precinct for the South-Eastern suburbs and beyond. As the Satara story continues to develop, now with trade showrooms across the country and in New Zealand, their new Melbourne base writes the next chapter, a space that perfectly houses the relaxed luxury aesthetic the brand is renowned for.
